Advancing human creativity

Let curiosity lead the way

Miami · 2026

Why we exist

We are investing extraordinary resources in advancing artificial intelligence. Are we investing as intentionally in advancing humans?

Just when we need more creative, critical and independent thinkers, early evidence suggests overreliance on AI is beginning to erode some of those very capacities.

Our answer

A human-centered institution purpose-built to develop human creativity

Why creativity

It is the human capacity to imagine what does not yet exist, question what does, connect unrelated ideas and turn possibility into action. It is the essential human capacity for how we adapt, innovate and solve problems.

Why an institution

We’ve built institutions to educate us, heal us and advance science. None is purpose-built to develop human creativity across every age and stage of life.

Why now

Advancing humans has to happen in parallel with advancing technology. Employers are demanding it while people are currently craving new ways to connect, contribute and see their own value in this new AI-era.

Why Miami

Young, diverse, international and entrepreneurial. Miami is the ideal proving ground. We start here, prove it here, then build a movement that carries into communities across the nation.

Our mission

The Center exists to help people discover, grow and share their creativity, through spaces, programs and partnerships designed to ignite it.

Miami is where we prove the model and build its first permanent home.

How it gets built

Mobile now. A prototype next. A permanent home in 2033.

1

Running now

Mobile

The Mobile Imagination Lab takes the programs to where people already are: schools, parks and neighborhoods across South Florida.

This does not stop when the building opens. It runs every year between now and 2033, and it is how most people will meet us first.

2

From 2027

The Prototype

A 20,000 square foot working facility, run as a series of pop-ups. The first opens at The Hangar in Coconut Grove from May 8 to 16, 2027: 188 sessions in nine days.

It tests real demand, pricing and the operating model, and every space planned for the permanent building is tested here first.

3

Opens 2033

The Center

A 90,000 square foot permanent home in Miami, designed with Renzo Piano Building Workshop, with a space for every way people create.

Design and due diligence are underway now. Construction takes three years, and the doors open in 2033.

The programs do not wait for the building. By the time it opens, the model will have been tested in public for seven years.
